Prescription refills
Text or call us. There is no form to fill in — tell us what your pet needs and we will take it from there. Picking it up here takes 24 to 48 hours; shipped to your door through the online pharmacy, about a week.
What to tell us
Three things, and the request is done in one message rather than three:
- Your pet's name.
- The medication and strength — the label on the bottle has both. A photograph of it is fine.
- Pickup or ship — whether you are picking it up here or would rather it went to your door.
Your pet needs to have been seen in the last 12 months
That is the condition for a refill, and it is worth checking before you write rather than after. A prescription is a veterinarian’s ongoing decision about a particular pet, and it cannot be made without an up-to-date exam. The dose that was right last spring may not be right now.
It is also what the law requires. Arizona lets a veterinarian prescribe only for a patient they have examined recently enough to know what that pet needs. That is why we ask for an exam every year.
If it has been longer than that, book an appointment instead. Say that a refill is the reason when you book, so it is dealt with at the same visit rather than becoming a second errand.

The difference is worth planning around. If your pet cannot miss doses, picking it up here is the safer choice — and if you are already down to the last few, say so when you write and we will treat it that way.
Already using the online pharmacy
If you already order a prescription through our online pharmacy, you can reorder it there directly — approvals for those are already in place, and it will reach you without anyone here having to do anything. Allow the week for shipping. Anything you have not ordered there before, or anything you need quickly, is faster by text.
