What to expect

Before you leave home

For an anxious pet we have already examined, we can prescribe medication to give at home. Anxiety that starts in the car does not end in the exam room.

Arriving

Cats and dogs are kept apart from the moment you check in.

The exam itself

We examine your pet wherever they are most comfortable, whether that is the floor, your lap or a towel from home. We work at their pace.

If it is not going well

We stop. A visit rescheduled with better medication on board is a better visit than one pushed through.
