Wellness Services
Wellness Exams
We strive to create a fear-free environment for all stages of your pet’s life. From the early days to the golden years, the Animal Hospital at Grayhawk team will be there to provide customized care based on your pet’s needs. Your veterinarian thoroughly examines your pet during your annual physical exam while also discussing vaccinations and ongoing wellness. Like you have wellness visits with your doctor, it’s important your pet does the same. During these visits, our team will spend time examining your pet from nose to tail.

Vaccinations
Vaccinations are one of the cornerstones of good preventive health care for dogs and cats. When administered by your veterinarian, vaccines provide cost-effective protection against infectious and contagious diseases for both pets and people. Vaccines help prevent many contagious illnesses, including ones that can be fatal, that pets may encounter if they are outdoors at all, socialize with other animals in public places, or travel with you.

Ultrasound
We offer the latest technology in diagnostic ultrasound services as a means of providing your pet with quality veterinary care. Ultrasonography is a type of diagnostic technique that uses ultrasound waves to produce an imaging study. This means that when we perform ultrasonography, we can see internal images of the patient’s body. We offer diagnostic abdominal
and echocardiogram ultrasound testing.

Echocardiography
Our veterinarians and veterinary technicians use ultrasound echocardiograms to assess and diagnose pet heart problems. While regular checkups and the observance of healthy habits will not always prevent the onset of heart problems, they will give us a better opportunity to catch symptoms early, so your pet can continue to live a normal life if heart problems should occur.

Exotic Pets
Pet owners easily recognize signs of illness in cats and dogs, but these clues can be elusive in exotic animals. Regular wellness exams and basic diagnostic testing are the foundations needed to identify health concerns before overt illness occurs. Regular check-ups, blood screenings, and parasite testing allow us to catch the underlying illnesses and decrease organ function, parasites, or infection even before your pet shows signs of being sick.
