Pet Vaccinations

Vaccines contain small quantities of modified or “killed” viruses, bacteria, or other disease-causing organisms. When administered, they stimulate your pet’s immune system to produce disease-fighting cells and proteins – or antibodies- to protect against such diseases. Vaccinations are one of the cornerstones of good preventive health care for dogs and cats. When administered by your veterinarian, vaccines provide cost-effective protection against infectious and contagious diseases for both pets and people. During your pet’s wellness exam, we will make recommendations for vaccine schedules specific to their age, species, and breed.
